Dyson Sphere, 2018
I designed the purple laser orb for Texture, to use at our after-parties in Detroit. It’s modular, 100% 3d-printed, and holds 71 purple laser diodes. When installed in a room that has haze or fog, the beams materialize and are visible, creating a sort of futuristic, spatial, dystopian disco vibe that fills any space it’s in.
