Cumulus, 2012

Cumulus is comprised of many folded box shapes, suspended adjacent to one another on a catenary cable net. By day the boxes dapple light and provide shade for festival-goers. At night the boxes act as a canvas for light, constantly blending and phasing between color gradients. Made for Movement Electronic Music Festival 2012, Detroit, MI.
